The MJS Fitness and Therapy specializes in multiple sporting areas such as MMA , Brazilian Jiu jitsu Kickboxing, Boxing, K1, Self Defence, Sports Massage and diet plans.

We are The MJS Fitness and Therapy based in Rainham, Essex.We have been established for over 35 years and are proud to say that we have been running successfully ever since. The MJS Fitness and Therapy specializes in multiple sporting areas such as MMA,  Brazilian Jiu jitsu Kickboxing, Boxing, K1, Self Defence, Sports Massage and diet plans.

At The MJS Fitness and Therapy we provide a safe and friendly environment in which you can come and join us and learn how to fight on a one to one basis or in group training using professional equipment. 

All our students are insured by WAKO GB. We also recommend that anyone who is working with us on a long term basis is also self covered with WAKO GB. When students join us we provide a compulsory health and fitness check up. This will include an all round body check up such as, your weight, body fat, blood pressure and other small checkups if necessary.

I had already lost some weight when I started training with Martin but I had hit a brick wall and was finding it hard to loose any more and had even put a bit back on. Martin gave me advise on how to manage my diet better and started me on a strict cardio training program. Within a few weeks I lost a stone and a half and my fitness was greatly improved. I now train three times a week with Martin and this has kept the weight off and continued to improve my fitness a great deal. Martin is strict but fair and is always on hand if you have any questions and will take time to plan the best training for you.

I have been training for the fight school for about 8 years now, I started kickboxing when I was 8 and after a couple of years I started doing one to one sessions with Martin. When I first joined fight school academy, I was very nervous because I am the youngest one in the class, but thanks to my teacher Martin Joseph who makes me feel comfortable. we are like family, where we learn new techniques on daily basis. I started training with Martin Joseph around 2 year ago, he was my personal trainer just to set me fit healthy. I used to group session and one to one sessions on a regular basis and then fell in love with art of boxing, 7 months ago I decided to join the fight school academy within those 7 months at the age of 45 I had 3 fights won 2 and lost 1. I have lost weight feel healthier and stronger than ever. At the school we train hard and have a good team spirit everybody is made to feel equal and one of the team
